The Canids-L internet mailing list
dealing exclusively with research, status, and conservation issues
involving wild Canid species. The list is aimed primarily at those directly
involved in canid research, management or policy-setting, but it is open to
anybody actively involved in canid conservation and research. The
list is moderated in order to keep
traffic low and focused on topics that concern the majority of subscribers. Types of news items appropriate for this list include, but are not limited to:
How to Subscribe, Unsubscribe, Help, etc.
The Canid Specialist Group is the world's chief body of scientific and practical expertise on the status and conservation of all canid species, advising the Species Survival Commission (SSC) of the World Conservation Union (IUCN). The CSG has its base at the Wildlife Conservation Research Unit (WildCRU), Oxford University, UK).
